Voldemort Horcruxes researches

Pencil sketch done while at MPC. It is one of the researches I've done at the time, to try and find the look of the Voldemort's Horcruxes that Harry encounters in "Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows part1".

I love the amount of detail in the lower part of the creature.
Recommendations:Might try to create a more dynamic pose to accentuate his personality. But damn good job :)

How long did it take to do?
How long did it take to do?
Strong Points:The concept is awesome. The pose is really dynamic. I can't believe you got to design this for Harry Potter.
Owner's reply
Hi Bounce and thank you.
This concept probably took me a couple of hours from early sketch to final.
I left MPC for Dneg not long after that and other concept artists worked on that brief too. The final design as it appears in the movie is actually more "ghostly" and also darker but I had a lot of fun designing all these twisted creatures :)
Cheers,
Philippe
