My name-sake Mr Mxyzptlk is a minor Superman villain but more a annoyance than anything. This project I had one mandate: "keep everything Zbrush" as a learning experience and for the most part I did, that said I'm still getting used to the shaders in Zbrush so I'm not really happy with the skin shader and how it turned out. I did tweak the render heavily in photoshop but my main concern id Fpop!..Is that a real sound effect?

Yeah man great face modelling, I really like the looking of the old man. Great sculpting of all the wrinkles and I also like the skin shader because it gives the image that great toonish look which makes this composition special.
But as i mentioned I don't like the hat and I also think that the shirt looks a little bit unrealistic at the collar because it's so wavy there.
Painted dust and background are really nice by the way.
Keep up your unique style!

Strong Points:face model, hair, presentation
Weak Points:can't find any but i don't really like the hat I think it's unnecessary.

Thanks for the review Speedtouch! and Yeah the shirt was a after thought. I kinda sculpted over his shoulders neck muscles to try to look like a shirt :O. The Hat is kinda iconic part of Mr. Mxyzptlk and the Nerd inside me wouldn't forgive myself if I took that away :P Perhaps I could have gone more stylised or worked with the texture a whole lot more.
