Elephant
3ds MaxPhotoshopZbrush
This elephant was created to help me improve my modeling and texturing skills. The elephant was built using 3dsMax and Zbrush. I then took unwrapped it and did some textures in Photoshop. The background in a simple card and I just cast a shadow on a plane.

Nice job but do not forget to keep watching and push yourself to the limit.
tick_blue
Strong Points:You want to show an elefant and you did, it's an elefant. I like this rendering because it's an elefant. Very nice job with the elefant, good color and pose.
exclamation
Weak Points:The texture is to blur and the shape of the animal is a bit young i guess.Maybe to much texture and less modeling, but it's a nice picture.
recommend
Recommendations:Sharp the subject and blur the surrounding, make the subject more prominent, let it do something, they are always busy. Catch them in the moment.

Not a bad start

This is not a bad start Sebby. I reckon you with some small tweaks you could really take this to the next level. Also, you could improve this by making the pose a little more dynamic. I'm not sure if it's just a bind-pose, but the elephant is very symmetrical and static.

Strong Points:Integration to scene is working nicely.
exclamation
Weak Points:Texture stretching. It looks like you have just used a texture projection from the side of the character? There are some obvious stretching marks that should be removed.

Recommendations:Improve textures and pose.
