Beetle Car

This is a free model of a car with a few adjustments and additional modeling by me.
The beetle car is really a texturing exercise executed in a few days. Any feedback would be much appreciated as I would really like to improve my skills to finally land a job as a texture artist in films or commercials.
By the way I'm currently on the lookout for any job opportunities.
Thanks

Overall a really nice texturing piece, considering it was "knocked up in a couple of days". It looks like a production ready asset.
Strong Points:Texturing, rendering
Weak Points:Tyre tread pattern a bit to perfect considering the rusty battered body.
Recommendations:Having a few peeling pieces of rubber coming off the tyres or some large gouges. Add some water weathering streaks to give variation in the weathering damage, at the moment it looks like it's all rust damage.

looks really good overall, the model is looking really cool, at the moment it looks a bit more towards a characature of a car, maybe try pushing those material attributes a bit further.
Strong Points:nice attention to detail, the lighting really shows off the texture well
Weak Points:in some of the renders the car appears flat, i think this is because the lighting is quite even over the model, perhaps make a singular light source stronger.
Feedback.

Pretty awesome to be honest dude. Keep up the good work! :)
Strong Points:Awesome texture work.
Weak Points:The amount of dirt on the tired pulls my focus away from the rest of the car, maybe it's just me though.
Recommendations:Try and add some more chipped paint on the protrusions, the car looks so rusted I'd assume it would have been damaged in some areas in that amount of time.
Awesome texture work!

Reminds of some cars in my community...haha :D
Strong Points:Now this is what I call texture work. Nice details, excellent!
Weak Points:I am mute.
Recommendations:I agree with Alwyn's comment about the wheels. Make them look like they've been burning the road. :)
Beetled up.

Nice chassi texturing

It seems you have a good idea of where to add your rust and dust. You're surely heading the right way.
Considering the flaws, it still speaks and absolutely goes as an old rusty car.

Strong Points:The chassi rust and dirt texturing works out very nicely, especially around the tyres.
Weak Points:There's no glass reflectivity. Overall reflectivity seems very low.
Hubcaps are too clean seeing how the tyres are very very dirty.
Lack of refractions on windows and headlights.

Recommendations:You need a better light rig, an hdri probe or just some reflectors to pronounciate the specularity and reflectivity of the shading.
Especially the cleaner parts of metal and glass need a clearer reflectivity.
If you want to display a really nice car texturing, you need a properly modelled headlight interior and then have refractive shading to both that and the glass. Right now this car works as a game engine texturing.

I don feel much depth in the textures, aslo why have you done the windows glass dark? just to cover the empty inside?
Great Texturing

Really nice work on the textures. Would be cool if there were more flaking/peeling bits of paint maybe and potentially more variation on the type of wear on the car
Strong Points:Texturing
Very Nice

The mud looks great although it does look like its been painted on, I think a slight bump map would solve this
Strong Points:Great mud detail.
Weak Points:Textures look a little flat.

A very well made model with a great aged look to it. Would love to see it in a street scene.
Strong Points:Some of the best textures I've seen. Lovely ageing effect and the model itself looks perfect.
Weak Points:Textures on the tyres do look a little flat.
Good.

Keep it up!
Strong Points:Dirt and rust diffuse.
Weak Points:Specular and reflections are missing.
Recommendations:Some more details on texturing...smaller scale details. And defiantly some reflections.
Beetlemania!

love it, well done mate :)
Strong Points:Great model, love the texturing and the faded look.
Recommendations:I'd like to see some oil and mud/dirt on the floor around the model. Maybe some tyre tracks suggesting it had been pushed into position before the 'photo' was taken :)
Amazing texturing!

This is a great piece of artwork. I like the idea that you have taken a free model and really focussed on texturing it. I'm going to try something similar myself.
Strong Points:The texture maps look great. Can you explain how you did them???
Weak Points:The only bit that looks slightly out of place is the metal trim between the doors. It looks too clean in comparison to the rest of the materials
Recommendations:Show us a turntable :)
