Another blog that gather a lot of cool visual inspiration, not limited to digital art (there are some cool photo shoots here and there):

Watch out younger readers or people at work, there is some nudity on there from time to time. (bam, extra clics guaranteed )

I also edited the title of this thread since it slided a bit towards the inspiration blog links more than the creatures design.
