Hi everyone, My name is Gilles Pfeiffer.

I am a freelancer and I use to work with ZBrush sometimes but more for my pleasure than for business because I don't have much opportunities to create characters or creatures in my job. I basicaly make graphics for video game, game maps, interfaces, 2D characters and sometimes 3D characters, etc.

My character will be a Kangaroo sorcerer:

Long time ago before men rise on earth, the animals were the most intelligent species.

They all have their Specificity, their job.

The most clever species were the rodents. They had magic abilities and most of them were sorcerer.

Kagglium the magician use to live at the south of Oceania, on the larger island in this area, Austrisland...

Here is the start in ZB:

I think I will do a 3D sketch then retopologize it in ZB or another 3D package and then bak agin in ZB for sculpting.

I think he will wear a pair of shorts, shoes, and a coat. A bag full of carrots and an hiking stick. He probably have the look of a fantasy character.
I think I will give him the shape of a skinless rabbit...

this is good so far. you should make the ears with zspheres too.

About the ears, I don't know, I think I will mix my Zsphere modeling with traditionnal modeling in Maya. This is something I am used to do...

Nice to see you've been doing some quick form studies in ZB.

I think the idea of adding clothing, back of carrots and hiking stick will really take this character to the next level.

Will be keeping an eye on this one.
