PRO- LIGHIOANA (BAD/BOY) 1 Year, 2 Months ago  
Hello, my name is Teodor.
This is the concept art for my entry.

Its a beautiful animal called "LIGHIOANA" who can eat people, other animals, even some plants when his head hurts, in a word he can eat anything. I hope you like it and enjoy my future posts. I hope have time for this project... will see.

here is an update... as you can see, I made the entire body for "Lighioana" and I am open to suggestions. I know its not much and can be much better, but in time, I hope to resolve that problem.

OK... I think I give Up... I've tried 1000 permutations in ZBrush to make something but Its worse than I've started in the beginning. My moral is at the ground level. I dont know how to work in Zbrush... I know very well in 3dsMax but there is soo much time consuming, I have enough of it. And in this I see the potential but I cant do anything right.
Maybe some starting points about how to rig several meshes in that work space?
I've tried Multimarkers thing and then modifiers-> make Polimesh, but I dont see nothing happening... belive me I have tried 1000 permutations... and nothing. i have enough with this stuff.. I watch some video tutorials and I see how easy it is with a normal ZBrush but my variant of zBrush (3.1 for Win) is a piece of crap.
Somebody here can give me some advice? please...

Hey Teodor, nice sketch man, really has potential! I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but some advice on building that type of creature in ZBrush would be to build the basic structure out of ZSpheres and use an adaptive skin to create a mesh to sculpt on. It may be you know this method but have a look at the ZBrush wiki found here, the ZShpere section is here and has a nice example of building a humanoid with ZSpheres, which could be used to build your creature.

ZBrush does take some time to get into but once you have got the hang of it, it will definitely be worth your time to learn it. So definitely don't give up! If this doesn't make sense ask some questions and we'll try help out here

Dont give up man, the concept is solid!!, Just attach one sphere for the neck and build the thinkness out later (or attach another on the one you don't use for the neck so you have a denser poly count in that area). If you really need it that way in the neck you can alway export your skinned model to max and do your refinning of the base mesh there. The sketch look sweet!!

about 5H it took me to make this piece of head in 3dmax, Who by the way it look like a piece of garbage ... Thats why I LOVE 3dmax because you can make a lovely nail in approximately one day. And I look forward to Zbrush but its a rebut of software because all controls in it are mest up. Why they dont make 1 Good software, combining the brains from 3dsmax and the cuteness from Zbrush, in a single package? One ZMax . Im just pist off because I know how mush time consuming is Max and now, I confirmed myself with this test, its not worth the time. Damn, I want to make meshes faster than 5H. I want to make them in minutes,.... hmmm >: .
