zbrush can be a bit time consuming to learn but when you got it you can kick out great base meshes in 1-2 hours. I suggest when you want to take a break from modeling you watch the pixologic movies, or better yet take a look on youtube.

I hope i'm not being too presumptuous but take look..

by doing a zsphere here (BLUE) and moving it into the head until its inside a bit (will turn whitish) It would give you perfect edgeloops for the eyes, then just draw another (RED) at the base of the head for the neck, you can always inflate it when you turn it into the mesh... if I'm over stepping my bounds just call me an @$$.

here is an update
this night I was able to make the body in zbrush with zspheres (i know is like hell right now) but i will refine it, IF I CAN.
I linked the head and the body in 3dsmax(the only way possible).
I have some difficulties to export this obj from max to zbrush and you can see it here in image. There are some things that in max not appear but in zbrush they are. How to get rid of them and save my work?

First try to hit those stray points with the smooth brush, or maybe try to mask all of your mesh except those points and use the move brush to get them in place. Go to the lowest subdivide level when doing that and erase the higher level to start sculpting. I think thats the best way, anyone else got an idea?

I think kingroaw is correct about solving the stray verts... if it still gives you trouble feel free to post the obj and I'm sure we could take a look at it for you to try and figure out where the verts are coming from... As for refining the sculpt, when you get to it try and add as much form on as low a subd level as possible, that way your form will be correct before you add detail.

As for saving work, if I understand your question correctly... In zbrush you save 3D objects as tools, so instead of saving the whole document or file, go to the tool pallet and save it as a tool. Then you can load the tool the next time you start zbrush.

Push through man, you are making progress!!

PS What sudb level is show in your image?

Check your OBJ in MAX to make sure the topology is not too dense in that area, and that it is clean(no double faces, extra vertices, etc). I had that happen a while back where a lot of edges were converging and creating a bunch of small triangle faces, it was hidden in a character's eye socket so I didn't think there was an issue. Once I brought that OBJ into ZBRUSH it caused the same thing you are getting. Went back, cleaned up the mesh, then things were fine. Hope that helps.

mr. "scottimation" was right...a bunch of small triangle faces where the problem in my case too. Though, thanks allot for your support, from all of you. You are very nice guys and I am pleased to work in this kind of atmosphere with helping and encouragement.
Keep it up, because you will have to win allot.
So... my update... slow but I manage to achieve something.
I just jump back in forth, between 3dsmax and Zbrush and I work in the Lowest resolution possible to make the transition.
I work on the head mostly. I will probably make some sketches to further enhance the expression and feeling.
I need your support about this. Tell me What do you expect to see, like the best way to represent, an extremely dangerous expression from my model.

like I promise ... I have continued my drawing... Though I was expecting some suggestions from somebody but I make it anyway.
Now I have a solid model to work with and I hope to achieve the level of detail I already make in sketch. Wish me luck.

hy guys ... I have a BIG problem with polygons :
My polygons from the back of the model are sooooooo big.
How can I subdivide this polygons but only in the Lowest subdivision possible?
My solution is to jump into 3dmax and make the operation there but this little thing will take me about 3 to 4 hours... And I need an advice to speed up time.
Please... give me some help here, because Im desperate with this enormous polys.
Here is the sample: the BIG one(back) versus LITTLE one(at arm):

I wouldn't worry too much, just move that row to the middle using the smooth brush or the move brush... later your going to divide that thing to like 12million polys, so, I wouldn't think it a big deal.

If you really want to I think you might be able to hide all other polys except those in question and hit divide... that will do what you want i think.
