Hi there, my names Jon Hartley and i just finished my BA(Hons) Computer Visualisation & Animation degree at the NCCA, Bournemouth University, UK.
My goal is to become a Creature Artist / TD in the VFX industry, so for my final major project i took inspiration from the awesome graphic novel "WE3" by Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely, and took on the task of bringing Tinker the Cat to life.
This is where im at at the moment, so its still very much work in progress and plan to take it much further, creating a production ready bad ass kitty... mirroring what will hopefully be visualised in the film version of WE3 by John "Kungfu Panda" Stevenson - oh how id love to be part of that! Does anyone know who's doing the creature effects so i can get in contact!? mwhaha
Anyway here is a video of what i uploaded to youtube featuring turntables and stills of Tinker both with and without the armour....
