Hey cgCoacherz...

Thought I might get some action happening in the forum!

I have been trying to use BodyPaint recently and have been having a few problems. There doesn't seem to be too much info out there for it either. Anyone here got some experience using it??? I've found some basic tutes but they are a bit lame.

Btw, this site looks pretty cool. Interested to see what happens...

Hey James

Woohoo first post in our new forum! Nice work.

I'm relatively new to Bodypaint myself but it it's a brilliant tool and worth getting your head around.

I found these videos pretty cool to watch - there is a whole series over at youtube. I'll dig around and find some links for you too and ask the other coaches for some tips.

I have to say that until I use Zbrush in my workflow, I stopped using Bodypaint. The tools of zbrush are nice to use when you use also ZappLink. The only thing I find not cool is that Zb is enable to keep layers like Bodypaint does. But now I deal with it and it works perfectly to texture many things, charaters but also objects...

Same for me. Many things on Bodypaint annoy me. I use Bodypaint only to fix seams with Nudge, Clone-Stamp etc.

though i use zbrush i personally have been looking at both body paint and mudbox and am more impressed with mudbox for texture:laugh:
