2D painting technique ? 10 Months, 1 Week ago

I am very interested in 2D painting with photoshop or painter but I didn't ever try to do such things. I use to do 3D but the sketches I use to do before trying to model are most of the time very bad...

Some of you guys would be so nice to share your technique or links or informations about CG painting for newbie. For me but at first for all the community.

tutorials, artist, book, DVD, anything.

Thanks Andrew, I will take a look at them later. About Feng, I already saw his DVD but the level was too high for me !
