We are proud to announce the winners of the annual Computer Graphics Student Awards. The winners were chosen from more than 150 applicants for their exceptional computer graphics skills across all facets of production for visual effects. The winners and finalists of this event share a total prize pool of over $50,000USD and 18 Studio Internships worldwide.

We have added an awards based ranking system to all Professional Demo Reel submissions. Each Award represents a different level of skill shown by the artist. The Awards are: Excellence, Gold and Silver.

Our Coaching Staff have reviewed thousands of Demo Reels during their professional careers. They know what works, what not to do, and most importantly, the tips that will give you that all important edge. When you request Professional Feedback for your Demo Reel you become eligible to receive a cgCoach award.

What is so important about these awards? Put simply, our Industry Partners receive updates from us with Demo Reels from local talent. When it comes time to fill a vacant position, they have access to the names of all Award Winners at their finger tips.

If you don't receive a Demo Reel Award the first time, you will be provided with clear goals and advice on how to achieve each level. You are eligilbe to keep submitting new versions any time you like.

We have setup a community based ranking system to reward those members who particpate and help others the most. You can earn Cap Points by uploading work, leaving feedback, adding comments, connecting with friends and loads more options. So start collecting your points and get the cap you deserve.

• Rookie: New to the site. Still learning the ropes and helping out. < 75 points
• Player: Starting to show potential. Reviewing and Adding work. > 75 points
• Vice Captain: Really starting to hit a stride. Real part of the team. > 200 points
• Captain: Strong performer. Valued contributor. Highly Respected. >350 points
• Manager: Outstanding performer on all levels. > 750 points
• Assistant Coach: Elite Artist with knowledge to share. >1500 points
• Coach: Invitation ONLY. Industry Professional who has earned their stripes here!
