A really nice mix of stop-motion animation and CG created by Tsuneo Goda.

    [Who is PLUG?]

On a slightly futuristic planet, there lives "PLUG" who survives on (a kind of) electrical energy. When he goes to sleep every night he plugs himself in for recharging and by the following morning he is full of energy. PLUG and his friends go to work, play, fall in love, laugh, cry and worry....and they all live similar lives to us even though they use a different source of energy.  But they are slightly freer than us and live in a nicer environment.
That's because this is a world achieved through zero-emission.

Google has a new interactive ad called Uncover Your World that demonstrates the features of its Google Search mobile app.

To create the ad, the Google mobile ads team and interaction studio GROW 3D printed every detail of an entire, miniaturized city block.

As you’ll learn in the making-of video shown below, the buildings, trees, signage, and tiny outdoor tables and chairs weren’t the only thing they ended up 3D printing for the stop-motion animated ad.

'Gulp' is a short film created by Sumo Science at Aardman, depicting a fisherman going about his daily catch. Shot on location at Pendine Beach in South Wales, every frame of this stop-motion animation was shot using a Nokia N8, with its 12 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss optics. The film has broken a world record for the 'largest stop-motion animation set', with the largest scene stretching over 11,000 square feet.
